Excellent information site on Florida Rivers. Anyone interested in volunteering to support the Hillsborough River for trash clean-up? May contact me at: patrick.potts@dep.state.fl.us You can enter one of Florida's oldest State Parks, sign up as a volunteer, and visit the real Florida. No fee for volunteer service.

Do you folks have plans on setting up a message board?

Thanks to a chance encounter with Edward, I now get to see this site for the first time. I haven't gone through all of it yet but I like this site already. Although conservative in my politics I appreciate conversations on foraging, wildcrafting, wilderness survival, Fl. waterways, night skies, and weird things in the wilds. I thank you folks for having this great site.

Cool story, I've Been all over the Peace River, Preserved in time , I think its the best river in the state to go paddling for a few hours and see real Florida. If ya can get some fossil hunting in it makes the day real sweet! goodluck and bring a camra

Love the website!! We've been wanting to take the older kids on a canoe trip, and you've helped convince me to do it! Love "Green with your Offspring"!!
